[He snaps back into silence. There's a few sounds like Chuck's trying to say something, but nothing comes of it. Just a tense, pregnant quiet. Normally, Chuck hates those awkward silences on the phone, and would fill them at least with noise or fidgeting or something. There's just nothing, because he's curling into himself a little while staring at the NV's blank screen.]
